Baillie Haylage Meadow Grass 20Kg

Baillie Haylage Meadow Grass is their Softest, Leafiest Haylage Variety. It is darker in colour to the other varieties but is extremely palatable - horses and ponies love it, especially those with teething problems. So much so that for good doers, Baillie would recommend Baillie Haylage High Fibre as the additional fibre content will encourage them to take more time over their forage.

Baillie Haylage Meadow Grass is a medium to low energy haylage, low in sugar, protein and energy (calories) and is suitable for leisure horses and ponies, native breeds, veterans, those in on rest or light work, animals on low-input diets and some laminitics. Cut at the close of the season, the Meadow Grass is only available in handy bale and large bales sizes. Meadow Grass is cut late in the season, the Meadow Grass is Baillie Haylage's softest, leafiest variety making it perfect for older horses with poor teeth.

Energy Yield:- Medium to Low, Bales It is great for older horses, fussy feeders, some laminitics, convalescents and those in light work or at rest.
